Hi! I’m Matt Funderburk and I’m a Loan Officer with Novus Custom Mortgage! I’ve been in the mortgage industry for 6 years- a career that started with one of the big banks. I decided to leave the big bank because of the lack of concern for the client experience. From the initial phone call to the closing table, I chose to hang my license with Novus because there is no other team that provides the same seamless service. That doesn’t stop at effective communication and ensuring that we close on time- It’s important that my clients feel educated and empowered to choose the right product, options, or rates that work for YOU.
I’m happily married to my wife Casey and we have a beautiful 2 year old daughter (Finley). When we aren’t chasing Finley we love watching sports and spending time in the kitchen. I love intertwining my previous chef experience with the mortgage industry by cooking for events and open houses (especially BBQ). Other random facts- I played rugby for the University of Alabama (Roll Tide!), I’m an Eagle Scout, and I love the outdoors
Most of my clients become family and my goal is to serve them for life! If you have any questions or just wonder how to get started I look forward to the opportunity of serving YOU next!
No problem, we are here to help! I would love to chat with you and answer questions you have and figure out what options are best for you! The best way to do that is to click below on Get Started button, and I will schedule a time to go over the many options that would fit your needs! So, if you are looking to purchase a new home, refinance an existing home, or look at your options to buy an investment property, I am here for you!
